How to spot business opportunities and bootstrap your way to success
Finding good online business opportunities is really easy!
The first thing you must do is checking which keywords you are going to fight for.
What is your niche? “Laptops”?
Use Google keyword tool to get more good keywords related to laptops. Search for “keyword tool” on Google and click on the first result link.
Now search for “laptops” in this tool. It will give you hundreds of related keywords you can use to sell to a even bigger market.
Now what that keywords search one by one on google and see how many websites are already there. I bet there are already millions of websites there fighting for the same fish you want.
Check some websites and see if you can do better than them.
If you can immediately register a new website domain. Go to Godaddy.com and register a new domain for just 9.99$ per year. Get some web hosting too. Now install Word Press on the server using Godaddy Hosting Connection. They will be glad to install it for you. Now you can start designing your website and killing your competition.
If you want to have access to even more people I suggest you to use Adwords. With Adwords you can have even a better opinion about if a market is profitable or not.
With Adwords you quickly know how much Advertisers are paying for each keyword and how much money they are making. For example if you find a keyword that you need to pay more than 1$ to get your ad rotated in the search network you just found a good and profitable niche since advertisers are willing to pay that amount of money per visitor! If they have a convertion ratio of 1% and they are selling their products at more than 200$ you can see they are making 100$ per sale. Use the same Adwords tool to see how many visitors they are getting and how much they are making per day.
I recommend you to select only one country at a time so that way you can have a greater accuracy when calculating the potential of that market!
After having a good ad running and a website converting well it’s time to do the same for other pay per click search engines.
Start with Microsoft Adcenter. Next to Adwords I believe this is the next best one to choose. Adcenter has “profiles” of the people you want to advertise and you can ever target them by age and choose the time when the ad will run,
Yahoo Search Marketing is the last option. This one is good but it’s very expensive! Don’t try it before Adwords and Adcenter.
