Alternatives to Google Adsense – Part 2

While Google Adsense is a great program for your site to earn money, there are other companies out there that actually offer more. They offer more control and more options.

With Adz-Click you can create the usual banner and text ads, but you can also create tag clouds, RSS ads, and inline text link ads.

Adz-Click turned normal tag clouds into an advertising medium. Usually tag clouds would show keywords for the site and when clicked on you were taken to a list or archive of the site with all posts or information related to that keyword.

Now you can use it to take visitors to different websites that are related to these keywords. You’ll be able to pick the keywords as well as know how much you will receive for each click, and see how many ads are available for each keyword.

You have complete control over the types of ads as well as how much you will make! Adsense does not let you choose the ads nor do you know exactly how much each click will make you!

Another program I like and use is AdBrite. You are allowed to set your own price or you can let AdBrite adjust it based on the demand they will raise or lower the price.

Making money online can be done is a number of ways. The most common is earning ad revenue through sites such as Adsense or Adbrite. There are also numerous paid-to-click and paid-to-read e-mail programs to join. Another way to make money online is by completing surveys from sites such as Valued Opinions. Keep in mind that the internet is full of get rich quick scams and too good to be true stories.

Anyone with a web site or blog already knows or has heard about the value placing ads on these sites. The most common program is Google Adsense, but Adbrite is pretty good too. Adsense seems to mainly rely on people to click the displayed ads to generate revenue. Adbrite on the other hand generates revenue by the number of impressions as well as people clicking the ads. There are pros and cons with each, but they both have the same purpose. Anyone with a web site or blog should really be using one if not both of these programs to earn money.

Paid-to-click or paid-to-read email programs are another source to make money online. The premise of paid-to-click programs is that each person is paid up to a cent to view a website or “ad” for up to thirty seconds. After a certain dollar threshold is reached a payment request can be made. The same is true for paid-to-read programs. There is a catch however with each survey. If a user doesn’t “qualify” for a survey it cannot be completed. It is not uncommon to only complete one out of five available surveys. That being said it is still a good way to earn a little extra income.

The internet is full of get rich quick scams and web sites with too good to be true stories. Any site that is offering a “product” or “system” to generate profits online is one of the “too good to be true” stories that rely on inept people to actually buy the product or service. In reality it takes a lot of effort and patience to earn money online.

A lot of people don’t know the ins and out along with the small details of making money online with your blog. If you truly want to earn money from your blog then you have to look at all of the available resources. Well today I am going to share some tips and strategies with you that will help you increase the amount of money you make online with your blog. I came across a neat little site called Adbrite. With

Adbrite it’s very easy to get started. First of all you give a description of your site and you are able to get a copy of the Html code which is the ad-serving code and copy it on your site and now you are ready.

With AdBrite you are in complete control because you receive text ads which are customizable, banner ads as well as active interstitials; these are ads that are full display ads which pay more. If you don’t approve of an ad you are able to reject it for whatever reason. Maybe it’s a competitor ad or may the ad is not socially acceptable, you ca then reject it. You are also able to set the price you charge to advertisers and along with the time frame whether it be daily, monthly or weekly. Adbrite has just recently partnered with some new networks including Advertising.com, Burst Media, and Adpepper so this allows these networks to sell inventory to Adbrite’s marketplace. These additions will help to make the program an even bigger success.

And don’t worry if no advertisers purchase your ads network ads are placed on your site. This is my first experience with AdBrite so I am looking forward to the results I will receive once I start to generate more traffic to my blog. If I start getting 500 to 600 visitors per day then it will be well worth my while because at that point I will know that I am on my way.
