Which Affiliate Programs Do I Personally Recommend?
I personally receive over a dozen checks and commission payments every month from various affiliate programs that I promote.
Last month, those checks totaled more than $10,000 and some months they have been as high as $25,000.
Given my success as an affiliate marketer, I’m often asked what affiliate programs I personally recommend.
The answer is easy because it’s actually a pretty short list.
First, let me explain what an affiliate program is.
Affiliate programs are used by monster companies like Amazon, eBay, and many others to recruit resellers(affiliates) to help bring customers to their websites.
But the affiliate programs I prefer are those offered by smaller companies that sell digital products online. Those are the programs that pay up to 75% commission, while most larger
companies may pay just a few percent.
You can join an affiliate program usually by applying online at the company’s website. Being accepted into the program gives you the right to market the company’s products as an independent reseller and receive commissions when you make a sale.
I’ve looked at hundreds of affiliate programs over the years and have come up with my own personal Top 10 Affiliate Programs that I actively participate in and heartily recommend.
Some of these programs require that you pay a membership fee and some do not. The reason some programs charge a fee (including my own affiliate programs) is because you get more value as an affiliate.
In most cases you get a full-blown website from which to sell the products and copies of most – if not all – of the products you’ll be selling. For example, I charge $124.50 to join my program, but you get access to over $500 in products.
To make my list of the Top Affiliate Programs is not an easy task.
First of all, I have to personally be an affiliate of the program and must have earned considerable sums to prove its validity.
To make my list the program must also:
Offer quality products that offer real value, no fluff Offer high commissions (30% minimum, 50% preferred) Offer 2 tier commissions (if the 1st tier payout is substantial, I can live with a single tier)
Have a proven track record of success
Have a spotless reputation
Pay commissions on time, every time
Have well-known affiliates who will vouch for the program
Be more than 6 months old
Have a low rate or returns
Be referred to me by someone I trust.
That last one’s a biggie for me. If one of my peers recommends a
program, I know it’s going to be good.
So, here is my personal Top 10 Affiliate Programs that make me thousands of dollars every month and with a little time and effort, there is no reason they can’t do the same for you.
These are the programs that I personally participate in and recommend. If you’re serious about starting your own affiliate marketing empire, take a close look at these.
Internet Marketing Center
IMC was founded by the late Corey Rudl and is now headed up by Derek Gehl, Corey’s right hand man. IMC racked up $40 million in sales and
pays out hundreds of thousands of dollars a year to their affiliates.
Their products are top notch, as is the support and the commissions. I regularly get checks from IMC that range from $3,000 to $7,000 a
month.
This program is free to join.

DropshipDesign Turnkey Websites
This is the only turnkey dropship website company that I recommend and I have been their affiliate for 2 years now. I regularly earn $500
to $1,000 week as an affiliate and also have my own turnkey dropship product site that brings in revenue from orders placed by customers. You
must sign on as a customer first, but doing so gets you your own turnkey website and affiliate marketing rights.

Get Your Free Traffic To Your Auction Listings With Ebay Blogs
eBay is the #1 auction site on the internet. eBay is the fifth most visited site on the Internet. Now, eBay jumped on the blog bandwagon. They have opened a brand new section of their site called eBay blogs. This area allows a registered eBay user to sign up for, and maintain an eBay blog.
Blogs are here to stay. So, if you’re serious about growing your eBay business then you should definitely consider signing up for, and creating your very own eBay blog. eBay has done a great job of making the process simple and easy so that almost anyone can navigate through the steps and easily set up their own blog. You do not have to have any programming experience or special html knowledge. Just visit the following url: http://blogs.ebay.com/ and click on the large button that says “Start Bloggingâ€.
What Are Blogs?
In the simplest of terms, a blog is basically an online journal. Blogs provide a place where you can easily write news and information about yourself and your auction sales on a daily basis. The word blog is a combination of web and log combined together to make the word blog. Blogs are a hot internet craze because they allow anyone to easily publish their own thoughts and content online – instantly.
Blogs are also wonderful for creating a ton of extra traffic and visitors to your auction listings. If you frequently post great content to your blog it will quickly be picked up by the search engines which will create more visitors to your blog and your auction listings for free.
What Should You Blog About?
In this day and age, it’s hard to imagine being an eBay seller and not immediately see the benefit of having a blog. It provides an easy way to interact with your customers. You can provide updated information about your auctions, the products you sell and general info about your business. Once you get used to blogging, you should consider making posts to your blog on a daily basis.
To get the most from your blog you want to think about writing content that is useful to your customers. eBay sellers should use their blog to provide more information about what they sell. For example, a seller who specializes in model cars might take some time to write a few articles or create posts about “tips for building model carsâ€. Another seller who sells wedding related goods might write blog posts about “effective wedding planning on a shoestring budgetâ€. The point is this: you want to make the content useful to your customers so they will come back often. The more you write good quality content and inform your customers, the more they will want to purchase products from you. Another benefit is that you can quickly establish yourself as an authority on the subject.
If you’re not sure what content to post in your blogs, simply do a google search for your subject and see what comes up. Use this information to create your product content. Caution: stay away from having a blog with very little useful content and a lot of sales ads for your auctions. It’s good to occasionally write a blog post to promote a new item you have up for auction, but if that is all you do then you’ll get very few repeat visitors to your blog. eBay is a very community oriented platform and the more community friendly information you provide, the more potential you have for repeat customers to come back to your blog… and hopefully visit your eBay auction listings.
How do you Promote Your Blog?
Like any other site on the internet, your blog will have its own unique url or website address. You will want to make sure that you keep this hand and start promoting your blog. There are a variety of ways that you can promote a blog. Some of these would include submitting your website to major search engines, and blog/website directories. You can easily further promote your blog by taking the content or articles that you write on the blog and submitting them to some of the major article directories. You can also create your own domain name and then forward it to your blog, so that you have a link that is easy for people to remember. In the past, I have used http://www.highfivedomains to secure my url’s for blog promotion.
What about Blog Comments?
Another great way to promote your blog and build traffic to it is to comment on other people’s blog. As a general rule, you should only post to other related blogs and post meaningful comments. If you start leaving a bunch of random comments that have nothing to do with the blog, or the blog post in general, then people will see this as “blog spam†also known as “splog contentâ€.
Does eBay have Blog Tags?
Another useful feature that eBay has included is blog tags. When you first set up your blog, there are some important fields to fill out including the selection of the tags that people will use to find your blog. These tags are basically keywords that people might use to search for your blog. If we continue with “wedding†example above, a seller of wedding related items would want to use common wedding keywords in their tags section. This could include tags like wedding, invitations, cake toppers, and wedding planning. Now, when another eBay user searches for wedding related blogs this blog will show up in the listing and again bring some free traffic to the blog.
In the not too distance future, eBay blogs will be commonplace. It is now that you have the opportunity to set yourself apart from your competition by setting up your blog – and using your blog to get free traffic to your eBay listings!

How to Really Make Money on Ebay

- Image via Wikipedia
Marketing on auctions is nothing new. Although Ebay is the most popular auction site on the internet, plenty of auctions sites have sprung up because of Ebay’s success.
Many people are quietly making thousands of dollars per month marketing their products on Ebay. What isn’t really well known is the number of people who are making thousands of dollars every month through the Ebay affiliate program.
Ebay offers one of the most generous affiliate programs on the internet, paying up to 65 percent per transaction. Not only can affiliates make more money by recommending the program, but they can also make a lot of money from people buying and selling on Ebay.
To get started with Ebay, you first need to join the affiliate program. You can do this by either joining through Commission Junction or Mediaplex.
Once you’ve joined, then you’ll need to decide what you want to market. Ebay has plenty of tools to help you decide, like categories, as well as wishlists, marketplace research, and Ebay trends.
Some of the services offered here are free, and some of them are paid. You will need to decide if you want to spend money on these tools when finding your niche.
Once you’ve decided on the segment of products you want to market on Ebay, then you need to decide what type of site you want to build.
You can buy scripts that will make it easy for you to sell various segments of the Ebay marketplace. This is probably the easiest way to get started.
You can also use the affiliate center at Ebay to help you with building your site. Again, Ebay has a lot of tools to help you make these decisions.
Ebay’s affiliate center offers everything from RSS feeds you can integrate into your site, to the Editor Kit and Product Kit. Be careful here though. Although RSS feeds are search engine friendly, javascript is not. Javascript will make your website dynamic (the content updates automatically), but the search engines can’t read it. It won’t help your search engine rankings.
Once you’ve built your site, then you need to market. How you market your new site will depend on which internet marketing techniques you believe will be the most effective for you. You can start by optimizing your site for the search engines and then submitting to the search engines.
You can also use free classified ad sites like Craig’s List, as well as US Free Ads.
If this seems like too much, you can also search Ebay and simply buy websites outright. How you decide to build your business from Ebay is totally up to you.
